Delicious Vegetarian and Vegan Options

Are you a vegetarian or a vegan? Are you simply trying to introduce more plant-based meals into your diet? People abstain from eating meat for a variety of reasons: health, religious convictions, concerns for animal welfare, or environmental concerns. Being a vegan or vegetarian has become appealing and more accessible. According to a Harris Research Poll and approximately 6 million adults in the U.S. do not eat any meat. Furthermore, several million more have eliminated beef or pork but still may eat fish or chicken. And about 2 million people are vegans, consuming no animal-based products including milk, cheese, gelatin, even honey. Curious about this lifestyle? We have some helpful information as well as some Naval Bagels vegetarian and vegan menu options.

  • Lacto Vegetarians do not consume meat or eggs but do eat dairy products.
  • Ovo Vegetarians will eat eggs, but do not eat any meat or dairy products.
  • Flexitarians are partial vegetarians and may eat fish (pescatarians) or poultry (pollo-vegetarians).
